Historical: Local fisherman and traders call it “candlewood” because of its high oil content and common use as a torch.
Of Interest: Sometimes called Amyris or West Indian Rosewood, not to be confused with East Indies Sandalwood (Santalum Album).
Aromatherapy Uses:  Muscle cramps. Bronchitis. Rashes. Spasms.
Blends well with : Cedarwood, citronella and woody oils.
Safety Data: Non toxic

Essential oils are used for blending with carrier base oils to make special blends for massaging the body.

So when mixing essential oil from a recipe please do not add more than recommended for one massage and if the skin is dry and you need more oil just add more carrier base oil not more essential oil.
