Sweet Almond Carrier Base Oil (Prunus dulcis)

It is reported to be soothing, healing, lubricating, softening, revitalizing and nourishing. Good for sensitive or irritated skin. This oil is a very pale yellow with a slight nutty odour. One of the top choices of Aromatherapists as it is good for all skin types.

Carrier oils are the base oils used on their own or for blending to make blends for massaging the body.

By adding essential oils to the carrier oil this method during massage carries the essential oils into the body.

Please note that adding too much essential oil is just the same as taking more drugs than that recommended dose by your doctor, this can cause an overdose just the same as with any drugs if used first without reading a good book on essential oil uses.

So when mixing essential oil from a recipe please do not add more than recommended for one massage and if the skin is dry and you need more oil just add more carrier base oil not more essential oil.

It is best when mixing your oil to just mix for that massage only in a saucer as some oils do not last when mixed.

Always keep your oils in a safe cool dark place and keep as you would any medicines.
